    Directed by Ben Ramsey, Blood and Bone is a pretty good, low-budget MMA flick, atlest one of the better ones I've seen over the last few years, although the story isn't nothing new or original its still pretty good, Michael Jai White (of Spawn and our hero in this mma flick) makes a convincing case here with a pretty good performance and deserves future consideration as an action star .    

The Story is about Isaiah Bone (Michael Jai White) who is paroled from the penitentiary and he has a hard time finding a legit line of work so he can provide for his beautiful and devoted wife, Tamara (Nona Gaye)............she's pure eye candy!. So, given that he's buff, and pretty good with his fists and feet, he descends upon the underground pit fighting scene where rumor has it there's a $5 million purse to be made. Of course, even in pit fighting you still have to work your way to the top, before you can get a real piece of the TOP DOG (current champion).

   Just like when Isaiah Bone, (our hero) was in the penitentiary, he proves to be just as badass underground. And it isn't long before he's wiped out all the other knuckle busting badasses, leaving a trail of limp, bloody and crumpled bodies littering the streets in his wake, much like a black Vin Diesel or more possibly Jim Kelly?. but still, his road to the big showdown for the top dog of the pit, Pretty Boy Bryce isn't without complications, (knew that was coming eh?) as the big kahunha or as you may....(the local mob boss), Franklin McVeigh (Julian Sands), wants a cut of (our hero's) action. also, Mr. McVeigh has a damsel-in-distress,  Angela (Michelle Belegrin).whos in need of rescue, by (our hero), Mr. Bone.

   For you folks who care more about body counts and martial arts stunts than a good storyline. Then this is your film! Its a take no prisoners mma flick featuring plenty of ball busting action, with decent acting performances and of course the Eye Candy of Nona Gaye and Michelle Belegrin.
