This is really lo-budget stuff but still a decent action movie, Loren Avedon isnt a great actor but he appeared in several lo-budget  martial arts flicks with well choreographed, martial arts action. King of the Kickboxers is another good movie and quite similar to the No Retreat, No Surrender movies which were all fun. Avedon is someone I've always thought was a good on screen fighter although hes no Van Damme. He's fast and looks very powerful, although his occasional screams of fury and taunts can be a little on the Edam side of things, but ah, it just adds to the charm of the movie in my opinion…if I wanted top quality acting I would be watching something else wouldn't I?
It's entertainment from beginning to end, superb fighting is what this is about. Don't look for great acting, or a great story or things like that, because there aren't any. The appearance of Billy Blanks adds something extra to this film. He's a bad guy in this and he's real badass, as Khan and it's always nice to see Keith Cooke in a film.
