      American Kickboxer 2 , the sequel to American Kickboxer is just about as bad as it can get for lo-budget end filmaking. Sufering from bad direction and the plot is just soooooooooo BAD, The acting is down right horrible which transends into laughable dialogue. Its like no one even gives a dam about the film and this shows throughout the film, The story has something to do with the kidnapping of a wealthy child, but really, the plot is just an excuse for martial artists Evan Lurie and Dale Cook to kick a lot of ass. That aspect of the film works, some of the fights are pretty dam good.  Lurie and Cook are just terminal actors neither one can act.........at all, it's easy enough to see why they've never transcended the straight to video market. And with one liners like this in your film? your ass is grass and we're the lawnmowers!, this movie would surely work amongst friends, weed and a lot of booze. Still, it's hard not to get a kick out of watching Police Academy's Tackleberry (David Graf) play an over-the-top bad guy, complete with a laughably short temper and never say die attitude. Where's the Mystery Science Theater 3000 gang when you need them? they would rock this movie!
