A Virgin Among The Living Dead -1973

                     First off folks the movies title is completely misleading, now with that out the way lets go for it! This movie starts with our beautiful leading lady, Christina (played by the beautiful Christina von Blanc) who arrives at Castle Monteserrat, her ancestral home, for the reading of her recently deceased father's will. She is picked up at a local inn by a deaf-mute called Basilio (played by Franco himself) and taken to the home to meet the rest of her weird family. She first meets her Uncle Howard, and then her sexy cousin Carmenze and is finally rushed  upstairs to meet her Aunt Abigail and watch her new stepmother die. After the bizarre funeral, she takes a naked swim in a pond on the grounds of the property and two old perverts watch her. Including me! Awhile Later, she gets back to her room and someone has put dead bats on her bed for some reason, (I never figured that one out!) so she runs away and stumbles onto her sexy Cousin Carmenze, who is sucking blood out of a naked blind girl's tit. Awhile later, the lawyer arrives and the will is read. Christina's father left her everything...... the house, and all the property. Now as you watch the film later, none of this will make any sense at all, and the movie becomes a complete drag fest! The girl is reunited with her dead father, they do some bizarre ritual, he warns her to leave the property........that he just willed to her? DAM!

                      After this folks the movie spirals into the unknown dead zone, I kid you not. Its just makes no sense at all man, the only good thing about it is the fact you have ample amounts of nudity, the story has pretty much died out 15 mins into the movie, there is no real gore, the film is more like a ghost story. Like most of his other disasters. (films) Franco has totally fuc'ed up what could have been a pretty solid movie, hell the only things about this film I did like was the gorgeous leading lady, Christina von Blanc and her beautiful cousin, Carmenze.  I just did not get this film, and odds are there was nothing to get anyway and I'm positive you want get it either, . maybe her family were ghosts or Zombies and maybe She was among the living dead? Hell who knows?
