                  I hate to state the obvious here folks, but ... the films called Sleepover Nightmare. Other than just being a total dragfest, It's more like a daytime house party complete with beer, bikinis, burgers, and bloodletting. Filmmaker Boon Collins seems to pop out a movie every four or five years and he has brought of such glorious hits like, Sally Fieldgood & Co. (1975), Abducted (1986), Spirit of the Eagle (1989), Abducted 2: The Reunion (1994) and now the 2005 release of Sleepover Nightmare. Of course you probly have'nt heard of any of these classics though and its probly for good reason, which is why we owe in all do respect a seasoned filmaker who has made a few films over the course of a decade or two now brings us a slasher film that looks completely amature made. So to Mr. Collins' credit, he does dole out what the potential renter of Sleepover Nightmare would want, a decent body-count, some bizarrely creative kills, and a respectable amount of gore. And you guessed it, the acting is pretty laughable and the "plot" all but non-existent. So lets get to the plot , atlest what there is of it.

                             It starts with a normal working Joe who turns into a vicious killer when he discovers his girlfriend screwing some guy in the parking lot. Yep folks, a cheatin' girlfriend creates a sadistic and bloodthirsty killer...............Get real, But thats about it for a plot or story?

     Anyway folks, Sleepover Nightmare contains laughable dialogue, silly acting, bad direction, flimsy production value, and the generic formula story concept, but thats what you'd expect from such a no-budget slasher flick entitled Sleepover Nightmare. This folks, is a film that gives the good lo-budget films such a bad reputation. The only Nightmare here is that this film was released.
